Roots Alchemy is the private-chef business of Chef Elliot Fabri, based on Hawaiʻi Island. This page explains what happens to the details you send through this website. Last updated October 2026.

What we collect

Only what you type into an inquiry, class or retreat form, or the newsletter box: your name, email, phone number, where and when you would like us to cook, group size, your preferred way to be contacted, and anything you write about the occasion, dietary needs or allergies.

Where it goes

Each inquiry is saved in a Google Form and Google Sheet owned by Roots Alchemy, and in Roots Alchemy’s own client records so Chef Elliot can reply and keep track of your booking. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms.

What we use it for

To answer your inquiry, plan and cook your meal, and, if you joined the newsletter, to send occasional updates. We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not share them with anyone except the services named on this page.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits without cookies, and may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and how many inquiries the site brings in. Google Analytics uses cookies; you can block them in your browser or with Google’s opt-out add-on.

Allergies and dietary needs

Tell us about allergies in your inquiry and again before your event. We cook in your kitchen or a host venue that is not allergen-free, so please let us know how severe an allergy is.

Your choices

Email rootsalchemykitchen@gmail.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to leave the newsletter. We keep inquiry details only as long as we need them for your booking and our records.
